Hardened pre-terminated patch cords is a connector used in optical fiber communication systems with outdoor waterproof protection. Designed to connect FTTH / FTTX outdoor optical fiber cables at ODN networks. The hardened connector maybe be terminated by SC/APC, LC, MPO types of fiber connections, which has sealed housing allowing easy connection to either a fiber access terminal, or the Multiport Service Terminals (MST), and other fiber optic distribution boxes. Pre-terminated patch cord incorporates hardened connector technology that is designed to withstand the rugged outside plant environment
