Fiber optic splice closure FOSC-6 (96), also called fiber optic splicing closures, is a device used to provide space and protection for fiber optic cables spliced together. This horizontal type closure is developed to splice and branch fiber optic cables on underground, aerial, wall-mounting, pole-mounting and duct-mounting routes during FTTX deployment.
Horizontal type fiber closure is like a flat or cylindrical case. This type of fiber splice closure is the most commonly used one in mounted aerials or buried underground. Horizontal type fiber optic closure usually contains one or more fiber splice trays to provide space and protection for fiber optic splices. Fiber splice trays used in different fiber optic splice closures may have different designs and fiber counts.
Jear FOSC are made of 1st grade UV resistant plastic which is weather and rust proof provide confident performance whether in overhead or buried underground during FTTX network constructions. We also provide relevant accessories such as pole bracket, stainless steel banding, cable slack storage and etc which are available in jera line product range.
