Fiber heat shrink tube for drop cable splicing also called drop cable splice sleeve. The tube can be used directly for protection of drop cable, after its welding. It’s widely used in FTTx line constructions.
Fusion splice protection sleeve consist of out tube (Shrink tube), inner tube(fiber tube) and strength member(steel rod). Plastic parts is made of high quality PE, and steel rod is made of stainless steel. All these material keep optic transmission properties of optical fiber and improve the protection to optical fiber splices.
This drop cable heat shrink tube provide a easy way and good protection for fiber splicing. The sealing structure make the splice free from influence of temperature and humidity in various weather condition.
